Neutral pronouns selected.

I had removed my gender from my Facebook About page several months ago, but you still had to select a gender for the purposes of pronouns. I have increasing made efforts to use neutral pronouns, especially in personal stories where gender is immaterial.

With this change you still can’t refrain from a gender designation but you can choose neutral pronouns and the gender designation “Other.”

Facebook Adds New Gender Identity Options for Users

Facebook allows users to select “custom gender” for their profile, meaning users who don’t identify as male or female can select a neutral gender identity.
