Really happy to hear some change is happening. Isolation goes back to penal theories from the mid 1800s that have been repeatedly show to just not work. If you don’t help a person lean new tools isolating them does nothing to promote prosocial behavior. A working example in the US will help other prisons to finally look seriously at reducing/removing this inhumane practice.
