Yesterday, on the second half of the CBC Tapestry program, Mary Hynes interviewed Ryan Bell, a (now former) evangelical pastor who is “trying out” atheism (eye roll) for a year and blogging about it. Ready to be annoyed, listening with a heap of skepticism, I ended up sitting in my car to hear the whole interview. Bell was genuine, articulate, and considerate in describing his exploration into atheism, and made some strong points for the atheist world view.
